Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Project Manager specializing in Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and Wire Harness Manufacturing to support electronic manufacturing projects from prototype development through production.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in PCBA processes, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Pin-Through-Hole (PTH) assembly, wire harnesses, magnetics, and box-build assemblies. The role involves ensuring product quality, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, supplier quality, and successful Current Product Introduction (NPI).

The position requires close collaboration with engineering teams, manufacturing partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Candidates must be comfortable with extensive travel, approximately 60–80%, and must be proficient in both English and Kannada.

Key Responsibilities

- Electronics Manufacturing: Demonstrate strong knowledge of PCBA and wire harness manufacturing processes, including SMT, PTH, magnetics, sensors, and box-build assemblies.
- Prototyping and Rework: Perform hands-on PCB assembly, soldering, and component rework using standard soldering irons and hot-air tools.
- Quality Inspection and Testing:



Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of electronic assemblies and perform continuity and functional testing of wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Design and Risk Management: Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies to improve manufacturability and minimize production risks.
- Product Qualification: Lead or support current product qualification activities, including PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Supplier Quality Management: Coordinate supplier onboarding, conduct quality assessments, and ensure compliance with applicable quality requirements.
- Standards and Compliance: Ensure manufacturing processes and assemblies comply with relevant IPC, IEC, and ISO standards.
- Project and NPI Management: Collaborate with engineering and project teams to plan, schedule, and execute New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to track project progress and resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, wire harnesses, or related engineering projects.




- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, SMT, PTH, wire harnesses, magnetics, sensors, and box-build assemblies.
- Knowledge of electronic components, component sizes, polarities, and packaging codes.
- Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, rework, inspection, and testing.
- Working knowledge of IPC standards, particularly IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620, along with relevant IEC and ISO requirements.
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, DFA, PPAP, FAI, and NPI activities.
- Experience in regulated or quality-critical industries such as Aerospace, Medical Devices, Automotive, or Oil & Gas.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and fluency in Kannada is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 60–80% of the time.

Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates with experience in electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturing, supplier development, manufacturing engineering, or electronics project execution will be preferred. Experience managing manufacturing partners and resolving production or quality issues will be an advantage.
