Role Overview

As a Fashion Accessories Intern / Management Trainee, you will work closely with our team on product development, merchandising, design, and e-commerce activities. This role offers an opportunity to understand the complete product lifecycle, from researching trends and developing samples to coordinating production and supporting online product listings.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Development
- Assist in developing new products across jewellery, bags, hair accessories, and home furnishings.
- Research fashion trends, colours, materials, designs, and market developments.
- Help prepare product references, mood boards, design presentations, and product specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for samples, materials, costing, and product approvals.
- Maintain product development trackers and sample records.
- Merchandising




- Assist in day-to-day merchandising activities and follow up on product development timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for samples, materials, and production updates.
- Help prepare costing sheets, product details, order trackers, and other merchandising documents.
- Track sample submissions, approvals, order status, and delivery schedules.
- Support quality checks and ensure product requirements are communicated accurately.
- Designing and Trend Research
- Assist in creating current design concepts, collections, mood boards, and presentations.
- Research fashion trends, competitor products, international brands, and customer preferences.
- Support the preparation of tech packs, product sketches, artwork, and design references.
- Work with the team to develop commercially viable and trend-relevant products.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools will be an advantage.
- E-commerce and Digital Support
- Assist in preparing product listings for online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
- Help with product titles, descriptions, specifications, keywords, and catalogue management.
- Coordinate product images, product information, pricing, and inventory details.
- Support website updates, digital catalogues, and online merchandising activities.
- Assist with competitor research and identifying online product and category trends.





Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate or pursuing graduation in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Accessory Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in fashion accessories, product development, and the fashion industry.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of design software, e-commerce platforms, or digital marketing will be an added advantage.
