Role Description The Packaging Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing day-to-day packaging operations for apparel trimming products. This role includes planning and assigning work to packaging staff, monitoring productivity, and ensuring that finished goods are packed accurately, safely, and in line with company quality standards.

The Packaging

Supervisor coordinates with production, quality, and dispatch teams to meet delivery schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and optimize use of packaging materials and equipment. Daily responsibilities also involve inspecting packaging for defects, maintaining documentation and labels,



enforcing workplace safety practices, and resolving operational issues on the packaging line. The role includes training and guiding team members, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and communicating clearly with management about performance, challenges, and resource needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, workload planning, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess quality control and quality assurance skills to ensure packaging standards, compliance with specifications, and minimal defects.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, report issues, and provide clear instructions to staff.
- Candidates should possess training skills, with the ability to onboard, coach, and upskill packaging staff on processes and safety procedures.
- Experience in packaging or production supervision in textiles, apparel, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, labeling requirements, and basic inventory management is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, stand for extended periods, and manage a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a technical or vocational qualification in production, textiles, or related fields is an advantage.
