Oracle Apps DBAKalSoft is looking to hire an experienced Oracle Apps DBA who will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle database environments. The primary objective is to ensure high availability, optimal performance, security, backup and recovery, and seamless operation of enterprise applications and databases.

Responsibilities

- Administer and support Oracle EBS (R12.1.3 / R12.2.x) and Oracle RAC databases
- Monitor database performance, storage, and system health
- Perform database backup, recovery, and cloning activities using RMAN and Data Pump utilities
- Apply Oracle database and EBS patches, upgrades, and security updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve database, application, and workflow-related issues
- Manage Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and database monitoring tools
- Implement and maintain database security policies and controls
- Support functional users and development teams with technical issues and minor enhancements
- Coordinate with Oracle Support (MOS/Metalink) for issue resolution and service requests
- Prepare monthly reports, issue logs, and technical documentation




- Conduct knowledge transfer and user training sessions as required
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements and provide support during critical incidents

Skills Required:
- Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.1.3 / R12.2.x)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC 19c or higher
- Expertise in Oracle Database Administration and Performance Tuning
- Experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery and EXPDP/IMPDP
- Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control
- Familiarity with Oracle Advanced Security, Database Vault, and Audit Vault
- Experience with Oracle Solaris, Linux, and Unix environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and support mission-critical systems

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Oracle Certified DBA certification preferred
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle RAC environments
- Experience in enterprise application support, database administration, and system maintenance
