We're Hiring: Operations Engineer – AI Infrastructure (24x7 NOC)

About the Role

Join our TIS Labs team supporting a large scale AI data center deployment built on Dell PowerEdge GPU servers and NVIDIA high-performance networking. As the first line of operations, you will monitor the environment, triage alerts, manage incidents, and work directly with OEM support teams to keep critical AI infrastructure running.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring of In-Scope Systems, Validating Alerts and Performing Basic Health Checks
- Monitor infrastructure dashboards and tools for alerts and events
- Validate alerts and identify potential false positives
- Verify availability and operational status of monitored systems
- Perform predefined health checks as documented in approved operational runbooks
- Report abnormalities and trigger appropriate escalation procedures
- Logging and Classifying All Incidents/Requests in the Customer ITSM Tool
- Create and update incidents and service requests in the customer ITSM platform
- Categorize and prioritize tickets based on customer-defined operational guidelines
- Maintain accurate ticket records and activity history
- Track tickets throughout their lifecycle and follow up with resolver teams until closure
- Assist in Initial Troubleshooting as per Runbooks and in Collaboration with OEM Support Teams
- Perform first-level triage as defined in approved runbooks
- Gather relevant information, screenshots, logs and diagnostics
- Validate symptoms reported by users or monitoring systems




- Execute approved operational checks and document findings
- Create and manage support cases with OEM support organizations, as required
- Engage appropriate technical support teams when further investigation is required
- Coordinate and Escalate Issues to OEM Technical Support Teams
- Route incidents to the appropriate OEM technical support teams
- Provide required diagnostics, logs, screenshots and incident information during escalations
- Follow up with support teams on open issues and pending actions
- Track incident progress and communicate status updates
- Coordinate bridge calls and technical discussions during critical incidents, as required
- Assist in facilitating communication between customer stakeholders and OEM technical support teams throughout the incident lifecycle
- Communicate Timely Updates to Users and Stakeholders
- Acknowledge incidents and service requests
- Provide periodic status updates on ongoing activities
- Communicate escalation status and actions being undertaken
- Issue closure and resolution notifications upon completion
- Generate and share customer defined daily operational reports from approved monitoring and management tools
- Support daily operational review calls with updates on open incidents, escalations and key operational observations




- Maintain Shift Handover Notes and Keep Tickets Updated
- Maintain shift handover reports to ensure continuity of operations
- Document ongoing activities, pending issues and open action items
- Ensure ticket status and work notes remain current and accurate
- Record operational observations, escalations and key updates for the incoming shift
- Maintain operational trackers for open incidents, support cases and pending follow-ups

What We're Looking For

- [2–5] years in NOC, data center operations or infrastructure support
- Working knowledge of servers (Dell PowerEdge / iDRAC preferred), storage and networking
- Exposure to InfiniBand, NVIDIA UFM or Ethernet data center switching is a strong plus
- Hands-on with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy or similar)
- Basic Linux command-line skills
- Familiarity with ITIL incident management (ITIL Foundation is a plus)
- Transparent written and verbal communication for updates and escalations
- Must be comfortable with 24x7 rotational shifts, including night shifts as required
- Candidates from outside Sriperumbudur must be willing to relocate
- Ready to join by 1st November, 2026
