Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Project Manager / Operations Head to lead end-to-end interior project execution and operations. The role will be responsible for project delivery, site execution, production and vendor coordination, cost and margin control, quality, customer experience, payment collection, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in interior projects, preferably commercial interiors and/or large-scale interior execution, with the ability to lead multiple projects and teams, manage vendors and site operations, resolve execution bottlenecks, and deliver projects within committed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end project execution from project handover/initiation through installation, snag closure and final handover.
- Lead the overall operations function for assigned interior projects and ensure projects are delivered within committed timelines, approved budgets and defined quality standards.
- Plan project schedules, milestones, manpower, material requirements and execution priorities in coordination with design, procurement, production, vendors and site teams.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines and take immediate corrective action for delays, bottlenecks and dependencies.
- Track and monitor civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, false ceiling, flooring, painting, furniture and other relevant interior execution activities as applicable to the project.
- Ensure timely vendor allocation, onboarding, mobilisation and deployment based on project requirements and schedules.
- Manage contractors, vendors, production teams, site supervisors and other execution partners; review performance and resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with design and technical teams to ensure drawings, BOQs, specifications and site requirements are aligned before execution.
- Monitor production progress, dispatches, installation and site readiness to ensure seamless movement from production to execution.
- Track project costs,



material consumption, vendor costs, manpower costs, wastage, rework and other execution expenses.
- Ensure project profitability and contribution margins are maintained as per approved targets; identify and control cost leakages.
- Identify rework, quality issues, material wastage and execution deviations and implement preventive/corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site reviews and quality inspections and ensure snagging, rectification and closure before handover.
- Manage customer communication during execution, set expectations, resolve escalations and ensure a smooth handover experience.
- Drive customer satisfaction, including handover ratings, customer feedback and Google reviews wherever applicable.
- Monitor validation errors, execution deviations and other process gaps and ensure timely closure. • Manage project risks, dependencies and escalations and communicate critical issues to management with proposed solutions.
- Lead and mentor project/site teams, set clear responsibilities and monitor individual and team performance.
- Establish standard operating processes and improve project execution efficiency, productivity and turnaround time.
- Prepare and review project MIS, dashboards, project health reports, timelines, cost/margin reports and operational performance updates.
- Provide regular management updates on project status, revenue, collections, cost, margins, delays, quality concerns, risks and customer escalations.
- Drive payment collection achievement in coordination with sales/accounts as per project targets and agreed milestones.
- Ensure project documentation, approvals, handover documents, measurement records and closure documentation are completed on time.
- Support management in capacity planning, resource allocation, vendor strategy and operational decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in interior design, commercial interiors, residential interiors, fitout,



project execution or allied construction/interior operations.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end interior projects from execution through final handover.
- Experience leading multiple projects, project teams and site operations simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of civil work, interior fit-outs, production, installation, vendors, contractors and site operations.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, costing, budgeting and profitability.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor/contractor management and commercial negotiation.
- Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, including handling escalations.
- Strong leadership, planning, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand project drawings, BOQs, specifications and execution requirements.
- Strong command of project MIS, Excel/Google Sheets and project management/reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid ownership, accountability and result-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Profile
- Experience in commercial interior projects, corporate offices, retail, hospitality, turnkey fit-outs or large-scale residential interiors.
- Experience managing projects with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in cost optimisation, project profitability and operational process improvement.
- Experience in managing project collections/payment milestones.
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field is preferred.
