Role Description The Omni Sports Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, focused on inspiring and supporting customers in discovering and enjoying sport. In this role, the advisor will welcome and guide customers in-store, understand their needs, and recommend suitable sports products and services across multiple disciplines. Daily tasks include maintaining product displays, ensuring stock availability, and contributing to an engaging, safe, and inclusive store environment.

The advisor will also support omni-channel services such as click-and-collect, online order support, and in-store events or workshops that promote sport and wellbeing.



Collaboration with teammates, continuous learning about sports and products, and active participation in store targets and community initiatives are core parts of this role.

Qualifications

- Robust customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand needs, and offer clear, helpful guidance.
- Interest in and practical experience with one or more sports, combined with a willingness to learn about a wide range of sporting disciplines.
- Basic sales and retail skills, including product presentation, stock handling, and use of point-of-sale and omni-channel tools.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing customer and store priorities.
- Comfort with using digital platforms and apps to support customers across online and offline channels.
- Commitment to an inclusive, non-discriminatory customer experience aligned with Decathlon’s values and focus on wellbeing for all.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is an advantage; a high school diploma or equivalent education is preferred.
