Role Summary

We are looking for an AVEVA E3D Administrator with 3–6 years of experience in system administration, configuration, and technical support for 3D engineering design environments to join our offices in Pune or Gurgaon.

The candidate will support E3D setup, user management, database configuration, customization, and troubleshooting while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

User Management & System Configuration

- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access levels.
- Configure E3D project environments, settings, and user access.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Support database structures and modeling environments in accordance with project procedures.

Customization & Optimization

- Develop and maintain catalogues, specifications, and PML scripts.




- Support customization of workflows, interfaces, reports, and macros to improve efficiency.
- Perform model audits, data verification, and quality checks.
- Support the configuration of pipe, cable tray, and HVAC supports as required.

Data Management & Integration

- Manage data import/export and maintain data integrity.
- Generate reports related to layouts, materials, and engineering deliverables.
- Configure and troubleshoot ISODRAFT settings and isometric drawing issues.
- Prepare, update, and share Navisworks models for design reviews and coordination.

Training & Technical Support

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to E3D users.
- Assist with user onboarding and prepare basic training documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to minimize system issues and maintain workflow continuity.
- Support continuous improvement of E3D administration processes and project performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical diploma.

Experience

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in AVEVA E3D administration and configuration, preferably in EPC/EPCI projects.
- Practical experience supporting engineering applications and multidisciplinary 3D design environments.

Technical Skills

- Good working knowledge of AVEVA E3D administration, configuration, and project setup.
- Experience with user management, database structures, catalogues, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of PML scripting and customization.
- Familiarity with ISODRAFT, Navisworks, and engineering data management.
- Knowledge of pipe supports and CAESAR II is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills, with the ability to support users across multiple engineering disciplines.
