Remote | Independent Contractor | Fixed Retainer + Performance Incentives

Choose New Zealand Education + Migration, an established Auckland-based education and migration consultancy, is looking for an experienced, sales-driven Student Recruitment Consultant to support our growing India market.

We are seeking someone who understands international education recruitment, communicates confidently with students and parents, and has a proven ability to convert enquiries into applications and successful enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage marketing-generated student enquiries and conduct consultations via phone, WhatsApp, video calls and other approved channels.
- Advise students on suitable New Zealand study options, admission requirements and general study-related matters.
- Follow up consistently and convert prospective students into submitted applications and enrolments.
- Maintain accurate student records and pipeline updates in Zoho CRM.
- Work closely with our Auckland team on applications, admissions coordination and student visa preparation support.
- Achieve agreed application and conversion targets.

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years' experience in international education counselling, student recruitment or education sales.
- New Zealand education market experience strongly preferred.
- Proven sales conversion ability and robust student follow-up skills.
- Good English communication, counselling and relationship-building skills.




- Strong CRM discipline and ability to work independently.
- Experience with other study destinations, including Australia, the UK or Canada, will be an advantage.

Engagement & Benefits
- Location: Remote, India (preference for Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru or Chennai).
- Engagement: Long-term independent contractor arrangement with full-time-equivalent commitment.
- Working arrangements: Flexible scheduling based on student needs and performance expectations, with participation in scheduled team meetings and training. Evening or weekend consultations may occasionally be required.
- Compensation: Fixed monthly retainer plus quarterly performance incentives and enrolment commissions.
- Lead support: Student enquiries generated through company marketing activities.
- Company support: New Zealand market training, CRM, approved communication platforms and ongoing support from our Auckland team.
- Equipment: Own laptop, headset, reliable internet and suitable home-working environment required.
