Our integrated capabilities include advanced multi-axis CNC machining, precision gear manufacturing, grinding, heat treatment, surface engineering and advanced metrology.

We are looking for an experienced, technically proficient and result-oriented Head – New Part Development (NPD) to lead the complete development cycle of precision-engineered components, from customer RFQ to successful serial production.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End NPD Ownership: Lead new part development from RFQ evaluation, technical feasibility and process planning through prototyping, customer approvals and production handover.
- Feasibility & Costing: Analyse complex engineering drawings, GD&T;, materials and technical specifications; develop competitive manufacturing costs, cycle-time estimates and tooling budgets.
- Process Development: Define manufacturing routes, operation sequences, machining strategies, cutting tools, fixtures, gauges and inspection methodologies.
- Prototype & Trial Management: Drive first-off development, machining trials, troubleshooting, process optimisation and sample submissions.
- Project Management: Manage multiple development projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to quality, cost and delivery commitments.
- Quality & Validation: Ensure compliance with APQP, PPAP, FAI, PFMEA, Control Plans and customer-specific requirements.
- Industrialisation: Establish robust, repeatable and cost-effective manufacturing processes before handing over to serial production.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase,



Tool Room and Commercial teams to resolve development challenges.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor and strengthen the NPD engineering, CNC programming and process development teams.

Required Technical Competencies
- Solid practical knowledge of CNC Turning, VMC, HMC, 4/5-Axis Machining and Multi-Axis Turn-Mill Centres.
- Expertise in machining process planning, cutting tools, fixtures, cycle-time calculations and process optimisation.
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerance stack-ups, material specifications and manufacturability.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming methodologies.
- Sound understanding of precision grinding, gear manufacturing, heat treatment and surface finishing processes.
- Experience in dimensional inspection, CMM, process capability and manufacturing validation.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IRIS/ISO 22163, AS9100 or equivalent industry standards.

Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 12–20 years of relevant experience in precision machining and component development.
- Minimum 5 years in NPD, manufacturing engineering or process development leadership.
- Proven experience developing complex, close-tolerance machined components for OEM customers.
- Strong technical decision-making, cost consciousness, project execution and people management skills.
- Experience serving Railway, Defence, Aerospace, Mining or Automotive OEMs will be preferred.

What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a hands-on technical leader with strong commercial awareness, someone who can take ownership of a complex customer drawing, develop an efficient manufacturing solution, lead successful prototype development and establish a reliable process for serial production.

The ideal candidate must be equally comfortable on the shop floor, reviewing engineering drawings, solving machining challenges and managing customer development commitments.
