Company Description Infinity Quality Services (IQS) is a leading India-based provider of Inspection and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) services, supporting diverse industrial sectors. The organization delivers NDE, inspection, and training solutions through technicians and instructors certified to SNT-TC-1A requirements by the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT). IQS conducts inspections and training either at client premises or in dedicated classrooms, offering flexibility for organizational needs.

With extensive hands-on experience, the team performs and witnesses inspections including ultrasonic flaw detection and thickness gauging, magnetic particle inspection, penetrant testing, dimensional checks, hardness testing, and visual inspections. IQS also serves specialized areas such as static and rotary equipment, casting, forging, welding, and inspections for automobile spares, plates, pipes, marine engine spares, and gears.

Role Description The NDT Technician role at Infinity Quality Services is a full-time, in office position based in Panihati. The NDT Technician will perform a range of non-destructive tests and inspections in accordance with established procedures and safety standards, including methods such as ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing. Daily responsibilities include preparing inspection equipment, executing tests on materials and components, documenting findings,



and reporting results to supervisors and clients.

The role involves working at client locations and industrial sites, collaborating with quality and engineering teams to identify defects, verify compliance, and support corrective actions. The technician is expected to maintain equipment, adhere to regulatory and client-specific requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes.

Qualifications

- Non-destructive testing expertise, including Ultrasonics and Eddy Current, with proven ability to apply appropriate NDT techniques to various materials and components.
- Strong Inspection and Quality Control skills to identify defects, evaluate compliance with standards, and accurately document inspection results.
- Understanding of Corrosion mechanisms and related degradation to support reliable assessment of asset integrity.
- Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., ASNT Level II in key methods) and familiarity with SNT-TC-1A or equivalent standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, codes, and specifications, with attention to detail and safety-focused work practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with clients, supervisors, and cross-functional teams on-site.
- Prior experience in industrial inspection environments (e.g., fabrication, power plants, oil and gas, automotive, marine) is an advantage.
