Role: Messaging & Signaling Test / QA Engineer

Experience: 5-8 Years

We are seeking a Messaging & Signaling Test Engineer with robust expertise in telecom messaging platforms and signaling protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating SMS and signaling services, performing interoperability and performance testing, and ensuring reliable communication across telecom networks.

What You'll Do

- Perform end-to-end testing of SMSC, VAS, and messaging platforms.
- Validate SMS Mobile Originated (MO) and Mobile Terminated (MT) services.
- Execute functional, integration, interoperability, regression, load, and stress testing.
- Analyze and troubleshoot SS7, SIGTRAN, SCTP, M3UA, SCCP, MAP, and Diameter protocol issues.
- Use Spirent Landslide to perform signaling and performance testing.




- Conduct packet and protocol trace analysis using Wireshark.
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure network performance, reliability, and service quality across telecom environments.

Required Skills

- 5-8 years of experience in Telecom Testing / QA.
- Hands-on experience with Spirent Landslide.
- Strong knowledge of SMSC, VAS, and Messaging Services.
- Expertise in SS7, SIGTRAN, SCTP, M3UA, SCCP, MAP, and Diameter protocols.
- Experience with SMS MO/MT validation and troubleshooting.
- Strong exposure to functional, interoperability, load, and stress testing.
- Hands-on experience with Wireshark and protocol trace analysis.
