Job Summary

URC Construction Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced MEP QC Engineer to manage quality control and quality assurance activities for a Data Center Project. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of MEP systems, inspection procedures, quality documentation, and compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections for MEP installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
- Inspect HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems during installation and execution.
- Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with project execution teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports,



material inspection reports, and testing documentation.
- Ensure materials and equipment comply with approved technical submittals and project specifications.
- Participate in site inspections, quality audits, and testing and commissioning activities.
- Monitor workmanship and identify quality issues, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety requirements, and project-specific quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in MEP quality control within building construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in Data Center projects/Highrise/Commercial projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical MEP systems, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting system installation and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Valuable coordination, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
