Role Description The Measurement Engineer role at MT-DECOR is a full time, on-site position based in New Delhi. In this role, the Measurement Engineer is responsible for performing accurate measurements on construction and interior fit-out sites, verifying dimensions against design drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include using measurement systems and tools, documenting measurement data, supporting quantity estimation and material calculations, and coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies.

The role also involves monitoring calibration and proper functioning of measurement equipment,



contributing to quality control processes, and preparing clear technical reports to support project planning and billing.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills for interpreting drawings, assessing site conditions, and validating measurement data.
- Proficiency with measurement systems and tools, including practical experience in performing accurate measurements on construction sites.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles related to installation layouts, cable routing, and equipment positioning (where applicable to projects).
- Experience with calibration practices to maintain accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, construction, or a related field.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and quantity estimation.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
- Working knowledge of CAD or measurement-related software and basic MS Office skills is an advantage.
