Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Software: SolidWorks or other equivalent software The candidate should have good working knowledge of SolidWorks, engineering tolerances, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes

You will work directly on real EV products—from concept to prototype to testing for existing and new projects.

What you will do

Create 3D part models and assemblies of electric motor components using SolidWorks.

Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements.

Design motor components such as shafts, housings, end covers, bearing seats, brackets, spacers, and mounting parts.

Apply dimensional tolerances and GD&T; based on functional and manufacturing requirements.

Understand fits and tolerances for bearings, shafts, and mating components.

Perform basic tolerance stack-up analysis for component assemblies.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, and design documentation.

Support prototype development, design modifications, and engineering drawing revisions.

Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, turning, milling, sheet metal fabrication, and die casting.

Assist in assembling prototype traction motors

Build stators, rotors and complete motor assemblies

Support winding, insulation and assembly activities

Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM)

Coordinate with vendors for prototype parts

Assist in fixture and tooling development

Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with motor design, embedded software, mechanical, and validation teams throughout product development.

Support prototype builds, engineering changes, root cause analysis, and continuous product improvement.

Prepare technical documentation including schematics, design calculations, validation reports, BOMs, and engineering change records.

Who Can Apply

1–2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical CAD design.

B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Good working knowledge of SolidWorks Part, Assembly, and Drawing modules.

Understanding of engineering drawing standards and dimensioning practices.
