About the role: The CEO's Office doesn't own a single function; it drives the CEO's agenda across Finance, Strategy, Investor Relations, Real Estate, Revenue and Marketing. You will own complete workstreams end to end – from driving the organisation's goal-setting to fixing the processes and controls that influence those goals. You'll run your workstreams independently, with direct visibility to the CEO and leadership.
This is a senior role in the CEO's Office, sitting one level below the Chief of Staff, with the autonomy and mandate to shape how the company executes.
Key responsibilities:
1. Org goals and execution:
Drive the annual and quarterly goal-setting process with leadership, and own tracking and reviews against those goals, driving the whole organisation towards execution.
2. Process efficiency: Find and fix inefficiencies in commercial and operational processes, owning each from diagnosis through to an implemented, measurable improvement.
3. Payouts and controls: Verify that payouts and internal controls work as intended; identify gaps and own the fixes through to closure with the relevant teams.
4. Initiative tracking: Track whether key initiatives are succeeding – define success measures upfront, review outcomes honestly, and push for course correction early.
5. Cross-functional delivery: Own cross-departmental programmes so that work comes together rather than falling between teams; align owners, resolve conflicts and hold teams to timelines.
6. Leadership review cadences: Run the CEO's Office review cadences independently, so leadership forums focus on decisions and accountability rather than status updates.
7. Decision-shaping analysis: Lead analyses on financials, MIS, cash flow and business performance that inform leadership decisions, and contribute to board and investor work with Finance.
8. Complex org-level problems: Take ownership of complex, ambiguous problems as they emerge and drive them to resolution, including the design and rollout of policies and process changes.
What you'll need:
1. Education & Experience: Full-time MBA with 4–6 years of total experience, including at least 2 years post-MBA, with preference for foundations in consulting, analytics, finance,
or a fast-paced operating role.
2. Ownership Mindset: A track record of owning complete workstreams end to end and delivering outcomes with minimal oversight.
3. Structured Thinking: Able to break a problem into parts from first principles, gather relevant information, and put together a clear, organised output.
4. Business & Financial Acumen: Comfortable reading financial statements, cash flow and unit economics; solid Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Execution & Follow-through: Proven ability to drive several complex initiatives to closure in parallel, holding stakeholders to their commitments.
6. Communication: Clear written and verbal communication; able to influence and, where needed, challenge senior leaders across teams.
7. Adaptability: Willing to move between ops and strategy work as priorities shift, week to week.
8. Discretion: Trusted with confidential financial, investor and people information.
Good to haves:
1. Industry exposure: Flex workspace / coworking, commercial real estate, hospitality / other multi-location, asset-heavy businesses.
2. Relevant experience: Strategy or operations consulting / a founder's or CEO's office / strategy roles in high-growth companies.
3. Functional depth: Finance or strategy specialisation; exposure to financial models, MIS, FP&A;, or fundraise/board work. A CA qualification is a plus.
4. AI fluency: Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude) as a daily working habit for research, drafting, analysis, and speeding up ops/strategy work.
Collaboration and communication: Proactive monitoring and collaboration with team members and internal departments are necessary to guarantee seamless operations at the centre.
How the role Interact with other teams or Individuals: Ensure effective communication and coordination between different cross functional teams to align the CEO's Office function with overall business goals.
