Role Description The Manager – Sand Mining Operations will oversee day-to-day quarry and mining activities, including planning extraction schedules, coordinating equipment and workforce deployment, and monitoring production targets. This full-time, in office role based in the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region includes ensuring compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety protocols across all operational sites. The manager will supervise supervisors and field teams, manage vendor and contractor relationships, and coordinate logistics for material transport to customers and depots.

Responsibilities also include maintaining operational records, preparing performance and compliance reports, optimizing costs and resource utilization,



and addressing operational issues promptly. The role involves close collaboration with senior management, government authorities, and community stakeholders to support sustainable and efficient operations.

Qualifications

- Experience managing beach sand mining, quarrying, or heavy construction operations, with strong knowledge of extraction processes and material handling.
- Ability to implement and monitor safety, health, and environmental practices, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Skills in operations planning, resource allocation, workforce supervision, and contractor/vendor management.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and documentation, including use of MS Office or similar tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with field teams, management, regulators, and local stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in quick-paced, on-site operational environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field; relevant qualified certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in sand mining or aggregates, and familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements in Andhra Pradesh, is highly desirable.
