We’re headquartered in Mumbai, with an office in Kochi.

The role

We’re looking for a hands-on finance professional to lead our accounts department and report directly to the Promoter. You’ll own budgets, books, compliance and cash, and you’ll give leadership explicit numbers to make decisions in a fast-moving, multi-project business.

What you’ll do

- Build the annual budget and monthly forecasts, and prepare project-level budgets and P&Ls; for our lists, awards and events
- Track actuals against budget and flag variances early
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close, and produce monthly MIS for the Promoter
- Manage cash flow, drive collections from partners and sponsors, and control vendor payments
- Own GST, TDS, income tax and ROC filings, and coordinate statutory and tax audits




- Set up internal controls and approval workflows, and improve our accounting systems
- Support commercial negotiations with deal economics and pricing inputs
- Guide the accounts team and manage auditors, banks and tax consultants

What we’re looking for

- Chartered Accountant (CA); CMA or MBA Finance is a plus
- 5–8 years in finance and accounts, including at least 2 years leading a team
- Experience reporting directly to a founder, promoter or MD
- Proven ability to build budgets and MIS from scratch
- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, GST, TDS and the Companies Act
- Comfortable in a complex environment with many projects running at once
- Advanced Excel, plus Tally, Zoho Books or an ERP
- High integrity and discretion with confidential information
- Experience in media, events, research or consulting is a plus
