Role Description The Manager – Accounts & Finance will oversee all financial and accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and banking operations. This full-time, on-site role in Dhaka includes preparing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements. The individual will develop and implement internal controls, support external and internal audits,



and provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions and cost optimization.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve supervising the accounts team, maintaining accurate records, preparing management reports, and collaborating with other departments to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Solid accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in taxation, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and implementation of internal controls.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to lead and supervise a finance team, manage workloads, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or chemical industry finance is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with inventory and cost accounting.
