Role Description The Junior Merchandiser role is a full time, on-site position based in Karnataka, India. The role involves coordinating with buyers and internal teams to manage orders, sampling, and production timelines, ensuring that product specifications and quality standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating order sheets, tracking shipments, following up with suppliers, and assisting in price negotiations and costings.

The Junior

Merchandiser will also support communication between design, production,



and quality teams, maintain accurate documentation, and help resolve issues related to delivery schedules and product requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand market trends, product performance, and buyer expectations.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to support product presentation, line sheets, and basic merchandising plans.
- Attention to detail, basic knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textile, Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred, along with prior internship or entry-level experience in apparel or retail.
