Role Descrng>iption The Junior Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Durg. This role involves assisting senior estimators with quantity takeoffs, cost calculations, and preparation of estimate reports for construction and related projects. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, entering data into estimation software, validating measurements, and organizing project documentation.

The Junior

Estimator will collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements, identify discrepancies, and support the preparation of bids and proposals. The role also includes maintaining records of estimates, updating cost databases, and learning standardized procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency over time.

Qualifications

- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and project documents.




- Familiarity with MS Excel and other basic office software; exposure to estimation or CAD tools is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and documenting estimates clearly.
- Detail-oriented approach, with the ability to follow established processes and meet deadlines under supervision.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and build knowledge of industry standards, materials, and cost trends.
- Ability to work in office in Durg and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
