About FloaidFloaid Medtech is a Chennai-based cardiac medical device company building heart-lung and circulatory support technology, including a percutaneous ventricular assist device (PVAD), an artificial heart, for the Indian and global markets. We are a team of about 14 engineers, clinicians and regulatory specialists, and we are in the middle of a major fundraise.

The RoleYou will work directly with the founder on fundraising and deal execution. You will own the financial model, the investor materials and the data room, and you will run outreach to equity investors and to CSR and grant funders. It is a high-ownership role with direct exposure to how a deep-tech medtech company raises capital, and the scope will grow with your performance.

What You’ll Do• Financial modelling: Build and maintain financial projections, valuation analyses and cap table scenarios, and keep them consistent with the business plan.

- Investor materials: Prepare pitch decks, investment memos, one-pagers and other fundraising collateral.
- Outreach: Research and map investors (VCs, family offices, strategics) and CSR and grant funders, then run and track outreach end to end.
- Deal execution and due diligence: Manage the data room, coordinate diligence requests across the technical, regulatory and finance teams, and keep investor communication on schedule.




- Documentation: Keep transaction documents, trackers and records accurate and organised.
- Sector research: Build a working understanding of Medtech and Deeptech technologies, regulation and market opportunities.
- Operations: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and make sure deliverables ship on time.

Who You AreEducation

MBA (Finance), CA, CFA (any level) is a plus.

Experience

3+ years in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, fundraising advisory, or startup finance.

Must have

• Hands-on financial modelling (three-statement projections, DCF/valuation, cap tables) in Excel

• Experience preparing investor presentations and written investor material

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to execute quickly and accurately

• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort dealing with senior stakeholders

• An ownership mindset and the ability to juggle several priorities

Good to have

• Exposure to a live fundraise, due diligence or data room management

• Experience with CSR or government grant applications

• Familiarity with Medtech or Deeptech, or a technical background

• Understanding of term sheets and basic deal documentation
