All inspections and training are conducted by technicians and instructors certified to SNT-TC-1A requirements by the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT).

IQS offers hands-on expertise in methods such as ultrasonic flaw detection, thickness gauging, magnetic particle inspection, penetrant testing, dimensional inspection, and visual inspection for equipment, castings, forgings, welds, and various industrial components. The organization focuses on reliable, high-quality services that help clients meet safety, compliance, and performance standards.

Role Description This full-time on-site Intern role is based in Panihati and supports the inspection and NDE operations of Infinity Quality Services. The intern will assist certified technicians in preparing equipment, setting up inspection areas, and documenting test results under supervision. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and organizing technical data, maintaining records and reports,



and helping ensure that tools and instruments are properly calibrated and stored.

The intern may observe and support various NDE techniques, participate in safety and quality briefings, and assist with basic administrative duties related to training sessions and client projects. The position offers practical exposure to industrial inspection procedures and an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a structured setting.

Qualifications

- Foundation in technical or engineering disciplines (e.g., pursuing a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, or related field).
- Basic understanding of industrial equipment, quality control concepts, or non-destructive testing methods is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in recording data, and ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians and instructors.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to on-site industrial environments, and perform physically active tasks as required.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets) for documentation and reporting.
- Availability to work full time on-site in Panihati; prior internship or project experience in inspection or NDE is a plus.
