Role Description The Interior Designer role at Spacedraft India Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed layouts for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating FF&E; selections, and producing drawings and documentation for execution. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors,



and vendors to ensure designs are implemented accurately and on schedule.

The Interior

Designer will also conduct site visits, review workmanship, and make necessary design adjustments to maintain quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic layouts.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure buildable designs.
- Candidates should possess FF&E; expertise, including furniture selection, finishes, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong visualization, detailing, and material knowledge, with an eye for quality and practicality.
- Effective communication, client management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in interior design or design-build projects is an advantage.
