Architecture BRIO is looking for an experienced Interior Design Draftsperson to join our team. The role will primarily involve developing detailed interior drawings and coordinating with the design team, consultants, vendors to ensure accurate information is captured.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed interior drawings, across at various stages of the projects based on the design intent.
- Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, furniture layouts.
- Develop detailed custom joinery drawings and construction details.
- Translate design concepts and sketches into accurate, buildable drawings.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with designers, consultants, vendors and site teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Review shop drawings and coordinate revisions with vendors along with the design team.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain updated drawing sets throughout the project.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed and issued within project timelines.





Skills and Requirements

- 5-6 years of relevant experience in interior design drafting, preferably within a high-end residential or hospitality design practice.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- In-depth understanding of interior construction, materials, joinery and detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding design intent and translation into technically sound drawings.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with the larger project team.
