Reporting structure: Reports to Director Operations

Job title and brief description: The Network Administrator will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware moves, and software installs. Responds to IT queries, provide trouble-shooting support to all North American locations, and works independently or with the CIO to create solutions, and works to implements solution within specified time frames.

Qualifications:

- 4- year degree required or compensatory experience. Bachelor of Computer Science / Diploma in Computer Science / engineering/ BE Computer Science /MCA
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Active Directory on premise and cloud.
- Proficient with VMWare and server virtualization.
- Familiar with Firewall configurations, routing, VPN and security.
- Must be versatile and have a willingness to learn recent technologies.




- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.

Primary tasks:

- Responsible for updating and managing company networks and servers.
- Assist in maintaining building and network security.
- Setting up new hardware and components for new/existing employees; cabling and cable management; move or upgrade hardware as needed.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Periodic audits of PC operating systems; maintenance and upgrades of operating systems and software.
- Learning and working on network infrastructure, including Servers, Firewalls, Switches, Access Points.
- Working on system applications such as Epicor, Office 365, Salesforce, and various other systems.
- Provide support to all physical locations and remote employees within North America.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Train employees on various systems and software related to their computer usage.
- Maintain performance of computer systems.
- Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
- Walk customer through problem-solving process.
- Clean up computers.
- Follow up with customers and/or employees to ensure queries have been resolved.
- Other duties as assigned.
