Freelance / Contract | Programme-Based Engagement | Remote / In-Person The Opportunity
IETCL is building a network of experienced Industry Trainers and Subject Matter Experts to design and deliver high-quality professional learning programmes.
We are looking for practitioners who can teach and build learning experiences — not simply trainers who can present slides.
Our trainers will combine strong subject-matter expertise with practical industry experience to create learning that is current, relevant and applicable to real-world environments.
Trainers will also be expected to design and develop programme modules within their areas of expertise. All programme structures and learning materials delivered under the IETCL brand will be reviewed and approved by IETCL before delivery to maintain quality and consistency.
Engagements will initially be on a freelance, programme-based basis. As IETCL grows, exceptional trainers may be considered for permanent positions within IETCL.

We are particularly interested in practitioners across:
Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI
AI Governance & Responsible AI
Cybersecurity & Information Security
Data Privacy & Data Protection

Continuously improve programmes based on participant and IETCL feedback
Who We're Looking For
Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory
Strong practical industry experience in your area of expertise
Demonstrable subject-matter knowledge and professional credibility
Ability to independently design and structure qualified learning modules
Ability to translate complex subjects into practical and engaging learning
Experience developing training materials, case studies, exercises or assessments
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Confidence engaging with professional and corporate audiences
Relevant professional certifications and/or academic qualifications
Ability to incorporate real-world examples and industry scenarios into learning
Commitment to maintaining current knowledge in your specialist area
Willingness to work within IETCL's programme review and quality-assurance process
High standards of professionalism, preparation and delivery
Previous professional or corporate training experience is highly desirable.
Senior practitioners with deep industry expertise but limited formal training experience are also encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong communication, module-development and presentation capabilities.
What We Value
At IETCL, we value practical expertise over theory alone.
Our programmes should help participants understand:
What it is → Why it matters → How it works → How it is applied in the real world
We particularly value trainers who can connect their specialist area with wider considerations across technology, cybersecurity, privacy, governance, risk, regulation, law and business.
Programme Quality & Review
All programme structures, modules and learning materials developed for delivery under the IETCL brand are subject to IETCL review and approval before delivery.
Trainers should be comfortable collaborating with IETCL to refine content, incorporate feedback and maintain consistently high programme standards.
Engagement & Compensation
This is initially a freelance / programme-based engagement, rather than a salaried position.
Trainers will be engaged based on subject expertise, programme requirements, module-development capability, delivery experience and availability.
Compensation will be agreed for each programme or engagement based on its scope, duration and requirements.
High-performing trainers may receive recurring programme assignments and may be considered for permanent positions within IETCL based on performance, organisational requirements and IETCL's growth.
