Team Member - Indirect Taxation – Santacruz East, Mumbai

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
- Education qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations, including GST

Exp: 8 to 14 years

- Positive subject knowledge in Excise, VAT & GST Acts & Rules.
- Determination of periodic liabilities of various Profit centers / states under various companies , ensure timely payments after adjustment of input tax credit & filing of monthly/ Quarterly/Annual returns and other compliance reports within stipulated time frame for GST duly sync with books of accounts & free from errors .
- Should have clear understanding of accounting controls.
- Liasoning with tax authorities & handling various taxation related audits, assessments, appeal,
- Handle issues under Indirect Tax Laws, Tax Restructuring and Tax advisory To review various legal agreements / contracts from an Indirect Tax perspective Draft representations to various relevant Associations,



Governmental authorities in relation to various Industry issues Stay up to speed on changes in tax regime, evaluate implications and support in decision-making.
- Manage and customize SAP to adhere to various taxation requirements. Maintain healthy external relations to present the company’s views on any IDT issue.
- Liaisoning with Auditors, Consultants and counsels to ensure effective representation/appeals.
- Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
