About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Industrial Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Pune. This role will play a critical part in supporting operational and development programs by delivering robust industrialization solutions through Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Time Study, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Layout Planning, Manpower Optimization, and Industrialization within a manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Engineering &

- Process Improvement

- Conduct Time Studies, Motion Studies, and Work Measurement activities to establish standard work and identify productivity improvement opportunities.
- Perform Line Balancing and manpower optimization studies to achieve required takt time and production targets.
- Analyze and optimize machine capacity, labor utilization, and process flow for maximum operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement production and industrial layouts, ensuring effective material flow, ergonomics, and optimal space utilization.
- Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) activities to identify waste and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools including:
- 5S
- Kaizen
- TPM
- SMED
- Poka-Yoke
- Visual Management
- Standard Work

Industrialization & • NPI
- Support new product introductions (NPI)



and industrialization projects from concept through full-scale production.
- Develop manufacturing solutions for new products and process changes.
- Participate in production readiness reviews, process validation, and manufacturing feasibility assessments.
- Provide input to product quotations and manufacturing change proposals.

Capacity & • Planning
- Conduct capacity studies and provide recommendations for equipment, manpower, and facility requirements.
- Support future growth planning through data-driven capacity analysis and expansion proposals.
- Develop workload and resource utilization models to improve operational performance.

Continuous Improvement
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and preventive actions to eliminate waste and improve manufacturing performance.
- Deliver measurable improvements in:
- Productivity
- Quality
- Cost
- Delivery
- Safety

Collaboration & • Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Teams.
- Lead industrialization projects involving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications & • ExperienceEssential
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.




- 5-6 years of hands-on Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong practical experience in:
- Time Study
- Motion Study
- Line Balancing
- Capacity Planning
- Manpower Optimization
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- Layout Planning
- Productivity Improvement
- Industrialization Projects
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and process industrialization.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with quality systems such as:
- AS9100
- ISO 9001
- D1-9000 (preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Aerospace Manufacturing.
- Experience in Wiring Harness Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and digital manufacturing.
- Project/Program Management exposure.
- Extensive Lean Manufacturing process development experience.
