Role Description The Independent Faculty Partner is a full-time, in office role based in Kolkata, responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning programs for client organizations. This role involves conducting training sessions, workshops, and extended learning interventions across domains such as digital workplace skills, leadership, communication, healthcare capability, and productivity.

The Independent Faculty

Partner will collaborate with client stakeholders to understand capability gaps, customize content, and align learning outcomes with business objectives. Typical responsibilities include preparing training materials, facilitating interactive sessions,



assessing learner progress, and providing feedback to enhance performance. The role also includes contributing to programme development, participating in faculty networks, and supporting continuous improvement of UPLYFT’s learning offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in at least one of the following domains: leadership and management, communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving, customer experience, sales and negotiation, or healthcare workforce capability.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering instructor-led training, workshops, or corporate learning programs, preferably in organizational learning and development.
- Ability to assess organizational capability needs, customize content, and translate learning into measurable performance outcomes.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse participant groups and encourage active learning.
- Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for learning delivery, content development, and participant engagement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Management, Education, Organizational Psychology, Healthcare, or related discipline.
- Experience working with corporate or healthcare organizations, including exposure to quality improvement, patient experience, or workforce development, is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with UPLYFT’s core team and faculty network, and willingness to be present on-site in Kolkata for client engagements.
