1% Abroad helps students get into top universities overseas. We're hiring an experienced HR Manager on a 6-month contract (extendable) to build our team and the culture that keeps it.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end hiring for counsellor, sales and operations roles: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding
- Build hiring pipelines and plan headcount with team leads
- Run performance review cycles and help managers give feedback and set goals
- Drive engagement and retention: team rituals, recognition, exit insights
- Shape a culture that's quick, student-first and accountable
What we're looking for
- 5–8 years in HR, with strong hands-on recruitment experience
- Startup, education or consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and sound people judgment
- Comfortable working hybrid from Kozhikode and owning outcomes independently
