Role Description The Sr. Manager – Production will oversee end-to-end production activities across formulation, quality control (QC), dispatch, and stores within a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing setup. This full-time, on-site role is based in Maharashtra, India and involves planning and supervising daily production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards, and optimizing resource utilization.

The role includes coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely material availability, monitoring in-process and finished product quality, and ensuring accurate and efficient dispatch operations. The Sr. Manager – Production will manage inventory and stores, enforce safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.





The position also entails leading and mentoring the production team, supporting audits, and contributing to strategic decisions related to capacity, cost, and process efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments, management, and external stakeholders.
- Service Quality focus to maintain high standards in production output, product quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Training skills to develop team competencies, drive GMP and SOP adherence, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- 12–15 years of experience in production management within the pharma, nutraceutical, or food industry, handling formulation, QC, dispatch, and stores.
- Thorough understanding of GMP, quality systems, documentation practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to WHO-approved facilities.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities, with experience in supervising large teams and managing shift-based operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using production and inventory management tools or ERP systems.
