Role Description The Highway Design Engineer will work on the planning, analysis, and detailed design of highways, expressways, and urban roads in line with national standards and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing alignment proposals, geometric design, pavement design inputs, and associated drawings and reports using relevant design software and guidelines. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for drainage, structures, and traffic components, reviewing design deliverables, and supporting design optimization and value engineering.

The engineer will participate in technical discussions with clients,



assist in resolving design issues during execution, and contribute to quality assurance and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Highway Design and Highway Engineering, including geometric design, alignment planning, and familiarity with national and international standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Roadway Design and Transportation Planning, with experience in traffic analysis, capacity assessment, and corridor planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Drainage Design related to highways and urban roads, including surface drainage, culverts, and basic hydrological assessments.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD,MX/Roads, open road or similar) and sound knowledge of IRC, MORTH, and related codes is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, with prior experience in highway/road design projects preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to design quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, manage timelines, and adapt to project requirements in a fast-paced setting.
