Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer role based in Mumbai. The engineer will design HVAC systems for industrial and commercial facilities, including clean rooms, laboratories, and controlled environments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing heat load calculations, selecting equipment, preparing layout drawings, and coordinating with plumbing and mechanical services.





The role involves collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams, reviewing designs with clients, and supporting site teams during installation and commissioning. The engineer will also assist in optimizing energy efficiency, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in HVAC Design and HVAC system configuration for industrial and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of Plumbing design and integration with overall building services.
- Proficiency in performing engineering Calculations related to heat loads, air flow, and equipment sizing.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles applicable to building services and utilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with design software and CAD tools for HVAC and plumbing layouts.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASHRAE, local building codes).
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in office in Mumbai.
- Prior experience in pharma, healthcare, or cleanroom projects is an advantage.
