Owned and operated by BalanceHero Group, True Balance is an RBI authorized Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) issuing entity. It offers loans through its subsidiary and RBI licensed Non-Banking Financial Company - True Credits Private Limited and other RBI licensed partners. The Graphic Designer will create high-quality marketing creatives that drive growth for True Balance, a digital personal lending fintech serving Tier 2/3 India. The role primarily covers performance marketing creatives (paid social, search and display, app-install and loan-product campaigns) and retention creatives (push, in-app, WhatsApp, email and CRM), along with basic website management and miscellaneous design work across brand and business teams.

The role needs strong marketing creative capabilities and high-quality design skills, combined with active use of AI, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset. The designer will be willing to expand into new areas such as video and web, even without prior experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design static creatives for performance marketing across Meta, Google and other channels, in multiple sizes and formats




- Design retention creatives: push notifications, in-app banners, WhatsApp, email and SMS assets for CRM campaigns
- Handle miscellaneous design requests: festive and seasonal campaigns, social posts, app store assets, website landing pages, presentations and internal communication
- Build creative variants for A/B testing and refine design direction with marketing teams
- Translate briefs into transparent, high-impact visuals while staying true to brand guidelines
- Use AI tools to generate visuals, creative concepts, layouts and unique designs, and turn them into polished, on-brand final creatives
- Stay on top of design and social trends, and bring fresh formats and visual ideas into day-to-day creative work
- Maintain organised source files and asset libraries with clean handoffs for easy reuse

Required Experience

- 6+ years of experience as a graphic / visual designer in digital-first companies (e-commerce, D2C, fintech, travel, consumer tech) or creative / digital agencies
- Experience across consumer tech (Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, Flipkart, Nykaa, Urban Company), fintech (PhonePe, Paytm, Groww, Cred), D2C (Lenskart, Mamaearth, Wakefit), travel (MakeMyTrip, Ixigo) or creative agencies (Schbang, Havas, Lintas, Publicis, Dentsu, Grey) is preferred
- Up-to-date portfolio is a must
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- AI proficiency is a must-have: ability to generate visuals, creative concepts, layouts and unique designs using AI tools
- Very creative, with strong aesthetics and layout sense
- Culturally tuned to what is new and trending

Education

- Degree / diploma in design, visual communication, fine arts or a related field
- Preferred institutes: NID, NIFT, Pearl Academy, Srishti or other reputed design schools
- Candidates from top consumer companies or agencies with an exceptional portfolio will be considered irrespective of institute
