GPP SME – Roles, Responsibilities & Deliverables The GPP SME will provide deep functional and technical expertise in Finastra Global PAYplus (FGPP), supporting rule configuration, payment processing, production issue resolution, and client implementations.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

GPP Rules & Configuration : Configure and maintain payment rules, routing, validation, processing parameters, system controls, and other FGPP configurations based on business requirements and payment schemes.

Production Issue Analysis & Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues, identify root causes, perform impact analysis, and drive issues to resolution in collaboration with development,



product, and support teams.

Deep GPP System Expertise : Demonstrate robust knowledge of FGPP architecture, payment processing workflows, business rules, configurations, interfaces, and end-to-end payment lifecycle.

Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to understand business requirements, provide functional guidance, recommend best practices, and resolve complex product-related queries.

Implementation & Testing Support: Support system setup, configuration validation, SIT/UAT, defect triage, regression testing, and production readiness.

Payment Analysis & Troubleshooting : Investigate payment processing failures, exceptions, validation errors, routing issues, and message/interface-related problems.

Risk & Stakeholder Management : Identify implementation and production risks, communicate status and dependencies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.

Knowledge Management: Maintain configuration documents, troubleshooting guides, root-cause analysis reports, and technical/functional documentation.

Technical & Functional Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, product, and support teams to resolve complex FGPP issues and drive product improvements.

Implementation & Post-Production Support: Provide go-live, production stabilization, and post-implementation support, ensuring smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.

Knowledge Sharing : Mentor internal teams, share FGPP domain expertise, and contribute to training and capability development.
