About Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated GCP DevOps Support Engineer to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting cloud-native applications and Kubernetes-based environments on Google Cloud Platform. This role focuses on production support, incident management, platform reliability, monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

What You'll Do:

- Monitor, support, and continuously improve cloud and operational services running on Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage and support Kubernetes and GKE-based environments to ensure platform stability and availability.
- Investigate incidents, troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate incident resolution activities and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
- Build, maintain, and optimize monitoring dashboards, alerts, and observability solutions.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, support procedures, and technical documentation.
- Support deployment automation and continuous delivery processes across various environments.
- Administer cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, access management, and configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to improve production readiness.
- Proactively identify reliability risks and implement preventive measures to minimize service disruptions.
- Monitor system performance, availability,



and capacity to ensure optimal platform operations.
- Participate in change management activities and support production deployments.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives and continuous service improvement programs.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 2-5 years of experience in Cloud Support, DevOps, Platform Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or Production Support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience managing and supporting Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles and containerized application management.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting tools.
- Experience supporting production-grade cloud platforms and mission-critical applications.
- Hands-on experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and automation practices.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, access management, and operational governance.
- Experience creating operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.




- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience working with Agile and collaborative engineering teams.
- Exposure to scripting and automation tools is an added advantage.
- Understanding of service reliability, performance optimization, and operational best practices.
