Role Description The Furniture Designer will design and develop furniture concepts that align with the studio’s architectural and interior design vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed drawings and 3D models, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing specifications for fabrication. The role involves close collaboration with architects, interior designers, and carpentry teams to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically coherent, and feasible to produce.

The Furniture





Designer will participate in client meetings, refine designs based on feedback, and oversee prototypes or mock-ups as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nashik.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Furniture Design and Furniture development, including concept creation and detailing.
- Practical knowledge of Carpentry and fabrication processes to ensure buildable and durable designs.
- Experience collaborating on Interior Design projects and integrating furniture within spatial layouts.
- Competence in Product Design principles, including ergonomics, usability, and material selection.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar 2D/3D tools).
- Diploma or degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Attention to detail, solid visualization skills, and the ability to translate ideas into clear drawings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
- Prior experience in a design or furniture studio is an advantage.
