About Filli & Me

Filli & Me is an early years brand with a vision to make parenting easier and childhood more fun. Launched in April 2026, the brand has been built with a clear ambition: to become India's best-in-class early years brand. We started in the kids' accessory space with a range of differentiated, ergonomic backpacks.

We're now developing several new product ranges to launch over the next few quarters. We recently raised a pre-seed round from D2C Insider Angels and marquee investors who are backing us on this journey. Design is central to how we grow, and we're looking for a designer to help shape what Filli & Me becomes.

The Role

We're looking for a freelance Product & Accessory Designer to work closely with our founding team on our next New Product Development cycle. You'll help define the brand's visual vocabulary, design our next range for launch next quarter, and take it from sampling through to production. This role suits someone with robust design skills who also enjoys overseeing sampling and bringing a product to life.

What You'll Do

- Work with the founding team on range planning: review the current and upcoming range, identify gaps and opportunities, and refine signature brand details such as charms and trims.
- Build the brand's visual vocabulary from our existing brand guidelines, covering design language, materials, motifs and brand signatures,



to guide future collections.
- Design new product ranges for next quarter's launch, including core SKUs and accessory sets.
- Work with the sampling team and vendors to develop samples and refine fit, finish and construction.
- Prepare detailed tech packs with specifications, materials, measurements and construction details.
- Supervise production alongside our operations team so the final product meets our quality standards and matches the design intent.
- Bring new sourcing options for trims, materials and factories to strengthen our supply chain.

What We're Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience designing accessories, bags, soft goods or kids' products, experience with a consumer brand in this space for domestic/exports would be a plus.
- A strong eye for brand consistency, and the ability to turn a brand identity into a clear design language.
- Hands-on experience with sampling, tech packs and production oversight.
- An existing network of vendors, sourcing centres or factories, preferably in India.
- Comfort working directly with a founding team, and the ability to move quickly and take ownership.
- Ability to work from Gurgaon for regular on-site visits (tentatively weekly), with the rest of the work done remotely.

Engagement This is a 3–4 month freelance engagement, working hybrid from our Gurgaon base. It can be extended based on design output and how well we work together.
