Reimagine access. Reimagine ownership. Build the future with Cinch.
Cinch is Southeast Asia’s leading circular tech subscription company, redefining how people and businesses access technology. Instead of adding to the growing e-waste crisis, we enable affordable, sustainable access to devices through subscriptions that maximize reuse and extend their lifecycle. We operate across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels, including major partnerships with global leaders like Samsung.
Our model sits at the intersection of powerful mega trends — sustainability, embedded finance, and the shift from ownership to access — creating a massive prospect to reshape the future of tech consumption. At Cinch, we are builders with high standards, a bias for action, and a shared mission to create a generational company that outlasts us. Freshly funded by leading institutional investors and growing rapidly, we’re creating an setting where ambitious people can do the best work of their careers — and where the work has real, lasting impact.
The Role
As our FP&A; Analyst you will own Cinch’s budget and forecast. You will build the plan by market, track performance against it every month, and work with stakeholders across the region to keep us on plan. A subscription device business has a lot moving at once: device cost, financing, collections, churn and residual value. Your job is to know which levers matter, show where we are ahead or behind, and drive the actions that close the gap.
You will work directly with the Corporate Finance Director, the founders, and country and functional leads across our markets. Investors and lenders will see your work.
What You'll Own
- Budget ownership. Build and own the annual budget by market and function.
Hold budget holders to it, challenge spend against it, and lead re-forecasts when the plan changes.
- Forecasting and planning. Run a rolling, driver-based forecast by market across revenue, margin, opex and cash. Keep it accurate enough that leadership uses it to make decisions.
- Variance tracking. Track actuals against budget and forecast every month, by market. Explain the drivers in plain English and recommend the actions needed to get back on plan.
- Key levers. Identify and track the operating levers that drive results in each market, such as new subscriptions, yield, churn, collections, device cost and residual value. Build a KPI view that shows leaders early when a lever is off track.
- Regional business partnering. Work with country leads, Growth, Operations and Asset Operations across markets to agree targets, own the numbers together and drive outcomes against the budget.
- Monthly reporting. Produce the monthly management pack with variance analysis against budget and prior periods, and explain the drivers in plain English.
- Unit economics. Track and model contribution margin per device, per subscriber and per channel, including cost of funds, acquisition cost, collections losses and residual value.
- Cash and funding.
Maintain the cash flow forecast and support the borrowing base and covenant reporting that lenders require.
- Investor and board reporting. Prepare the financial sections of investor updates and board packs, with the Controller.
- Scenario and business-case modelling. Model new markets, products and partnership deals so decisions are made with numbers on the table.
- Data quality. Work with the Data team and RevOps to make sure the numbers you report tie back to source systems.
