About Finkraft
Finkraft.ai is the invoice-first control layer for global corporate travel, operating at the intersection of travel, fintech, and tax compliance (GST/VAT). We process invoice data at scale for over 100 Fortune-500 clients, enabling reconciliation, compliance, payments, and financial optimisation. As we scale from approximately $2M ARR toward $10M+ and expand into the GCC, we are strengthening our leadership team with a critical post-sales hire.
About the role
You sit between our platform and our clients’ systems, and you write the code that connects them. Every enterprise client arrives with a different shape of data — a TMC extract, an ERP export, an airline portal, a hotel chain’s billing system — and none of it matches the last one. You own making it work: building the ingestion, the parsing, and the integrations that turn a client’s raw invoice and booking data into reconciled, compliant output.
This is a hands-on engineering role with direct client exposure. You will be on calls with a client’s IT and finance teams in the morning and in the codebase in the afternoon. You ship to production.
Key responsibilities
- Own technical onboarding for new enterprise clients end-to-end: data discovery, mapping, ingestion, validation, and go-live
- Build client-specific ingestion pipelines, parsers, and transformations for varied invoice, booking, and GST data formats
- Integrate with client and partner systems — TMC feeds, ERP exports, SFTP drops, APIs, and government portals
- Debug and resolve data-quality and pipeline failures in live accounts, from root cause to fix
- Work directly with client IT, finance, and tax teams to translate ambiguous requirements into working systems
- Feed recurring client-specific work back into the core product — generalise what repeats, so the next onboarding is faster
- Partner with Delivery Ops and Customer Success on escalations that turn out to be technical
Requirements
Candidate profile
- 3–7 years in software engineering, with meaningful time in a client-facing or deployment-focused role (FDE, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or integration engineering)
- Strong Python; comfortable with SQL, APIs, and data pipeline work
- Experience building ingestion or ETL for messy, inconsistent third-party data
- Can hold a technical conversation with a client’s engineering team and a plain-language one with their finance team, in the same meeting
- Comfortable with ambiguity and short feedback loops — you scope, build, and ship without waiting for a spec
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (LLMs, copilots) in engineering and data workflows
Perks
Strong advantages
- Exposure to GST/VAT or indirect tax systems, e-invoicing (IRN/IRP), or GSTR reconciliation
- Travel/TMC, airline, or hotel data experience
- Web scraping and automation at scale, including portal-based data retrieval
- Experience being the first or earliest FDE at a company — building the onboarding playbook, not following one
