Role Description The Finance Executive role at Shilton Hospitality Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves managing day-to-day financial operations, including preparation, review, and reconciliation of financial statements.

The Finance

Executive will handle financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor costs and revenue, and assist with variance analysis for multiple business units.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, maintaining accurate records,



and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The role also includes preparing periodic management reports, supporting cash flow management, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Finance and the ability to interpret and work with Financial Statements.
- Candidates should possess solid Financial Reporting experience and familiarity with management reporting practices.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and related compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for cost monitoring, variance analysis, and data-driven decision support.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software commonly used in finance and hospitality.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, management, and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in hospitality or multi-unit business environments is an advantage.
