Role Description The Field Engineer role at CharjKaro is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.

The Field

Engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining EV charging stations, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Typical activities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating with the technical support team, and documenting service activities. The role involves visiting various charging locations, supporting upgrades or expansions, and collaborating with operations and project teams to meet service and performance targets.

Engineer is expected to follow safety standards, maintain accurate records, and provide clear communication to internal teams and, when needed, to customers at the sites.

Qualifications

- Solid troubleshooting and technical support skills for diagnosing, resolving, and preventing equipment and system issues.
- Hands-on field service expertise, including on-site maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical or electronic systems.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers at charging stations.
- Basic project management abilities to plan tasks, prioritize site visits, and support rollout or upgrade projects.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and standards; experience working with power systems or EV infrastructure is an advantage.

- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed service and maintenance records.
- Willingness to travel within Delhi and nearby regions as required and to work occasional weekends or evenings for urgent site needs.
