? Forward Deployed Engineer – Data & AI (2+ Years of Experience)

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with strong data engineering and analytical capabilities to work at the intersection of data, AI, and customer-facing engineering. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand complex business problems, work with large and diverse datasets, and build and deploy scalable, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate combines robust programming skills, data modeling and pipeline development expertise, and the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into robust technical solutions.

? What You'll Do

- Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges, data requirements, and existing workflows.
- Analyze, process, and transform large, complex datasets to uncover insights and solve real-world business problems.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data processing systems.
- Develop data models, analytical workflows, and backend components to support customer-specific use cases.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, third-party platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Build and deploy production-grade solutions that combine data engineering, analytics, and AI capabilities where relevant.




- Investigate data quality issues, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Translate ambiguous customer requirements into practical technical solutions, taking ownership from discovery and prototyping through deployment.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to improve solutions based on customer feedback and real-world performance.

✅ You're a Great Fit If You

- Have 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics engineering, forward deployed engineering, or a closely related technical role.
- Have strong programming skills in Python and experience writing efficient, production-quality code.
- Have hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and working with large or complex datasets.
- Have built and maintained data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, or data-intensive applications in production environments.
- Understand data integration, APIs, distributed data processing, and system design fundamentals.
- Are comfortable debugging complex issues across data pipelines, backend systems, and third-party integrations.
- Can independently take a problem from an ambiguous requirement to a working, deployed solution.
- Are comfortable working directly with customers and translating business needs into technical implementations.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments where ownership, adaptability, and practical problem-solving are essential.
