Role Description The F&B; Cost Controller at Loco Bear is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing and optimizing food and beverage costs across the venue’s outlets. This role involves daily monitoring of purchase prices, consumption, wastage, and stock levels, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of inventory. The F&B; Cost Controller will prepare menu costing and cost analysis reports, support pricing decisions, and collaborate with kitchen, bar, and procurement teams to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.





The role includes reviewing supplier invoices, verifying GRNs, tracking variances, and assisting in monthly stock counts and audits. The individual will also help implement cost control policies, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide regular insights to management on F&B; performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Cost Control and Menu Costing skills to manage F&B; expenses, analyze margins, and support menu pricing.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend cost-optimization strategies.
- Candidates should possess core Finance and Accounting skills to ensure accurate recording of transactions, inventory valuation, and cost reporting.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools, and familiarity with POS and inventory management systems.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and culinary teams.
- Relevant experience in F&B; cost control within hospitality, restaurants, or entertainment venues, and a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field would be beneficial.
