Cookd is a food brand from Tamil Nadu with a community of over 6 million followers. We make masalas and cooking kits that help home cooks make great meals every time. We sell through our own website, every quick commerce app, over 6,500 stores across Tamil Nadu, and to customers abroad through distributors in the US, Australia and more.
What you'll do
- Grow Cookd's export business in existing markets and open new ones
- Find, appoint and manage overseas distributors, and help them sell through to stores and customers
- Own the numbers for your markets: volumes, pricing from landed cost to shelf, and margins
- Plan launches and promotions with distributors, and bring market feedback back to the team
- Work with supply chain,
finance and marketing to get the right products to the right markets on time
Who should apply
- 2 to 15 years in exports or international business at a consumer brand: food, FMCG, personal care or similar
- You have built distribution in a market yourself, not only handled orders, documents or shipping
- Based in Tamil Nadu or Bangalore, or ready to move to Chennai
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup, and keen to grow into a leadership role
