To execute and monitor day-to-day production activities as per the approved production plan, SOPs, quality requirements, safety procedures, and production targets. Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

Execute daily production activities according to the production schedule. Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time. Monitor process parameters and machine operations. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machines, and utilities. Monitor production output, yield, rejection, rework, and downtime. Immediately report process abnormalities and production issues to the supervisor/manager. Shop-Floor Management

Supervise operators and contract manpower during assigned shifts. Ensure proper allocation of manpower to production activities. Monitor shift activities and ensure proper shift handover. Maintain positive housekeeping and 5S standards in the production area. Ensure availability and proper use of PPE. Quality & Documentation

Follow approved SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards. Complete production records, logbooks, checklists, and batch/production documentation accurately. Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process inspections and quality-related issues. Support deviation investigation, CAPA, RCA, and corrective actions where required. Ensure traceability and proper documentation of production activities. Equipment & Maintenance

Operate production equipment as per approved procedures. Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalities. Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance.



Ensure equipment cleaning and basic operating checks are completed as required. Productivity & Improvement

Monitor productivity, cycle time, yield, and equipment utilization. Participate in Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous-improvement activities. Identify and report opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, rejection, and rework. Safety & EHS

Follow all safety procedures and EHS requirements. Ensure safe handling and operation of equipment and materials. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses. Maintain proper housekeeping and workplace safety. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with PPC, QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments. Ensure timely availability of materials and production resources. Prepare daily production reports and shift handover information. Escalate production delays, quality issues, equipment problems, and material shortages to the reporting manager. Qualifications

Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Manufacturing, or relevant discipline. 2–6 years of relevant production/manufacturing experience.

Experience in shop-floor operations is preferred. Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Office is an advantage. Key Skills
