Role Description The Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Pune City. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for EPC and MEP projects, including quantity take-offs, BOQs, and rate analyses based on drawings, specifications, and site inputs.

The Estimation

Engineer will review tender documents, identify technical and commercial requirements, coordinate with engineering and project teams, and support bid preparation. Daily responsibilities include conducting market and technical research for materials and services, evaluating vendor quotations,



and assisting in negotiations to ensure cost-effective and compliant proposals. The role also includes maintaining estimation records, updating cost databases, and supporting management with comparative statements and reports.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and Project Estimation for EPC/MEP or civil/industrial projects.
- Educational background in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Ability to perform detailed technical and cost Research for materials, vendors, and market rates.
- Effective Negotiation skills for working with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant estimation and MS Office tools; familiarity with CAD or project management software is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong numerical aptitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in estimation for EPC, MEP, or construction projects is preferred.
