Role Description The Equity Dealer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India. The role involves executing client orders in equity markets, monitoring price movements, and ensuring timely and accurate trade execution in line with client instructions and regulatory norms.

The Equity

Dealer will interact with clients to understand their trading requirements, provide basic market updates, and maintain high standards of service quality and confidentiality. Daily responsibilities include managing trading terminals, verifying orders, coordinating with back-office teams for trade confirmation and settlement,



and adhering to risk management and compliance guidelines. The role also requires maintaining records of trades, assisting in resolving client queries related to trades, and staying updated on market developments affecting equities and investments.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of Stock Market operations and Trading processes, with practical experience using trading terminals.
- Understanding of Equities and related instruments, including market behavior and basic technical or fundamental concepts.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance and Investments, with the ability to support clients in executing informed trades.
- Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and accuracy in order entry and trade verification.
- Effective communication and client-handling skills, with a professional and ethical approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment and make quick, responsible decisions under time pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; NISM or equivalent market certification is an advantage.
- 1–2+ years of relevant experience as an Equity Dealer or in a similar trading or brokerage role.
