Role Description The Engineer Intern role at DriveLink is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. In this role, the intern will assist with designing, developing, and testing engineering solutions under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks may include writing and reviewing code, running experiments or simulations, documenting technical findings, and supporting integration and debugging activities.

The intern will collaborate with engineers and product teams, participate in stand-ups and project discussions, and contribute to improving existing tools and processes.



This position is designed to provide practical exposure to engineering practices, while offering mentorship and opportunities to build foundational technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in engineering or computer science, with familiarity in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).
- Ability to understand and apply basic software development or engineering principles, including problem-solving, debugging, and documentation.
- Comfort working with technical tools and platforms commonly used in engineering projects, and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment and present ideas clearly in writing and conversation.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Interest in the mobility, automotive, or transportation technology domain is a plus, along with any prior project or internship experience.
